1600 Nomad coolant change ?

I'm going to change he coolant on my 07 Nomad 1600. It is fuel injected I have read some posts on doing this but have 2 questions.
1. Can I just slide the gas tank back enough to get to the radiator cap without removing the vent hose?
2. I looked but couldn't find the water pump, where is it located?

1. No, tank is going to have to come off.
2. Right side front cylinder, just below the cooling fins on the cylinder. It has a hose running to it.

Just take the tank off (it helps if it's low on fuel) it isn't a big deal. 10 minute job.

Yup pull the tank, pull the rad plug first so it can begin to drain, when the tank is off pull the lower rear water pump bolt and let that drain too. Don't forget the rez bottle.

Upon filling pull the top rear bolt till let air out of the pump. it might be a good idea to pull that bolt when you pull the lower to clean it, and re-pack a little silicon sealer on the cleaned threads. Coolant and air will still pass. Use FREE of everything coolant.

It may not hurt to give it a flush while your at it. Sometimes a lot of stuff settles in the bottom of the rad.
