Snow!!

Wow,

We have about 20 inches of snow on the ground this morning. They are predicting up to 4 feet where I live. I may have to put tracks on the Nomad? Not sure how that would work. Anyway sounds like the bike will be collecting dust in the garage this week. :(

Is anyone planning on going on a ride in the Denver area any time soon?

Snow!!

Only got a couple inches in Boulder, although rained a bunch as well. I think the bike will be out by Sunday. No particular rides planned but open to suggestions.

Hey guys, the title of "snow" caught my eye on your region board. Ours is mostly all gone now, but it was a winter to remember. Hope the white stuff disappears for you real soon!

I guess we are paying for the mild winter.
We live at about 9700 feet, so when it rains elsewhere, it shows up as snow here.

JLK,

We were up in the mountains at Silverthorne. At A-basin it came down in buckets. They had 15 inches of new powder when we got there and I would say at least that much before we left. Coming down I-70 yesterday was to say the least white knuckle. They should have kept it closed until they had the 4 to 6 inches of ice off. Beat the crap out of the car.

Snow!!

It finally stopped snowing last night. Snowed for more than 48hours straight. I have not been able to make it down to Hwy 285 to see what kind of shape it is in. Good news is it's going to be nice all week.

Waterman,
I hope you made it home safe. It sounds like they had to close eastbound again last night because of a real bad accident.

JLK,

Made it into Denver by about 1:00 p.m. Didn't like the drive what so ever. Bunch of idiots flying past you on rutted road with potholes everywhere. It doesn't surprise me there was an accident with that mess.

A friend west of me into the mts reports nearly 5 feet, and she has a 1/3 mile long driveway. Streams will be a flowing when she gets out.

Snow!!

I think this will hold the fire season off for a few more weeks. I won't complain about that! I may be riding out to the Deer Trail area on Saturday. My son may have an event out that way but I am not sure yet. If not I will be going somewhere else, just not sure where. Anyone have any suggestions? I have been wanting to do the loop from Pine Junction to Deckers and back on Sante Fe to 470 but it gets crowded on the weekends I think. Anyone been down that way recently?
