Speed Bleeders

Has anyone has any opportunity to use or is using Speed Bleeders. Seen them advertized on Ebay and also found a web site for them. Check this link out.

Speed Bleeders

Never used one, never seen one either. If I read the website correctly, you install this in place of the OEM bleeder valve. Then loosen the speed bleeder and it eliminates the need for opening and closing the bleeder valve as you pump and release the brake lever/pedal? If it works as advertised, it would be sweet. Maybe somebody who has experience with these will chime in.

I tried them back in the 70's & didn't like them. Perhaps the new ones are better.

I always use a vacuum pump nowdays. I think it helps remove moisture and air better if you throw a vacuum over the system.

Not sure how good they would be..LOOKs cool but potential to leak! Like Cadd said IMO a Vacume is better,, In AC we put a vacume on the system when cleaning it and installing new freon,, the vacum BOILs the water to a finer droplet size.so moisture comes out better.......But still a cool idea,,,,,,,,Rich

Likewise i trued them in the 70's and didn't like them. The srong loaded ball is that type was a bit to slow. I have no idea if this is the same or not.

I have no problems bleeding the old fashion way, so I have no fancy time saving tools. The worst of the worst thing to bleed for me was a clutch on the Saab 95 and 96 long ago... I got very good with them, and ever since everything else is easy.

For many years my plow truck had no bleeders. They were rusted away as in all gone and flush with the rear wheel clys... I just line bled it. Cake... That deal was harder, only because it was just me and my snow brush.
