South Central has posted their schedule for next year too, which is the following week of the South East Rally, which is the 17,18,19 of June 2010. So South Central is 24,25, 26 I believe.

I would prefer to base out of Prarie du Chien Wisconsin; after having done this ride a few times now.

The rides along the Mississippi River from that point and north provide some of best scenery in the Midwest without any doubt -- and the side roads going out from the river provide some of the best "twisties" one can handle on a bike.

There is lots to do and see; and plenty of roads to ride in that region that can challenge the best.

I would look at a date in late June or mid-to-late July for that region.

Late June is already taken. We'll have to shoot for mid to late July. I am fine with the location, let's nail down the dates.

We'll have to see what others have available. Another thought would be to try for the fall-follage; which would put us in to the late part of September to mid-October. The only risk there is the colder weather begins to be unpredictable -- however the fall colors at that time are unbelievable.

If July is chosen we would look at a weekend I suppose -- so that leaves dates surrounding the weekends of 17th & 18th; 24th & 25th; and the 31st & August 1st.

If anyone is at all interested -- please give a nod one way or the other soon to these dates and the location of starting in Prairie du Chien, WI.

If anyone has other ideas or suggestions; please say something.

Anyway... there is my two-cents.

The next poll will be dates. This could be from May to September. When the other polls are done, we'll get to it. My guess is no hotter than anywhere else in the region.
