Starve Rock ride

I was thinking about a ride from Huntley to Starve Rock on 8/1 is anybody interested in meeting up for a ride?

I would if it didn't fall on the weekend my kids are coming up to visit.

I'll let you know if that changes. Should know by the end of this week.

Scion0; Roadman; Stretch? How about meeting up at Starved Rock and then riding with Baddad in the area around there? Not too far for you guys to head-up from the Peoria area.

Just an idea guys... just an idea.

I have a St Jude Telethon and St Jude Rides Peoria to Memphis event that day or I would have loved to have went.

hey gofs99 I am still planning on going i a have few other people i am waiting to hear from. I just check the forecast they are calling for scattered storms but i will continue to check it.

Too bad you didn't get to ride yesterday.

My kids (age 20 and 23) were bored so we went to the Dells and Mt. Olympus to ride the roller coasters there. Spent all day acting like kids. The coasters there aren't too bad; but a bit rough since they are wooden.

Rode the Apollo Swing while there. That's a ride that will see what you're made of.

Also went downtown and rode the Skyscraper ride... Now that's a ride that doesn't care what you're made of!!

It will simply make you wimper in fright!!! Won't ever ride that thing again. Scared the cr@p out of me. I still shake thinking about it.

Anyway... headed out late this afternoon for something a little more "tame"; like a couple-hour ride while the weather and sun are holding up.
