Okay guys....May 2-3 is only a couple weeks away. It's time to figure out who is out and who is in. I'm sure schoeney would like a head count too.

I'm in for sure and I know Rickyboy is planning to make it (barring a non-cooperative work schedule). If he CAN make it he is going to meet me in Everett for a nice leisurely ride through SW Washington, then on to Greg's. I'm sure we will be crashing at your place Greg....

I think Charlie plans to ride down Saturday night to Greg's after work if he can't get off earlier to meet me and Rick somewhere along the way. Charlie....a little tip here....Syrup of Ipecac will produce a sure puke if you need a quick "get out of jail free" card.... ;)!

Not sure about our new members Duke in Maple Valley and John Biddle in Mountlake Terrace...but I will send them an email to see where they stand....

I will also PM BigJohn to see if he plans to join us....

Chime in here guys and let us know what you're thinking. Impossible to say for sure this far out, but the long range weather forecast looks favorable... . Keep your fingers crossed!

Kris,

I got three beds and a couch. If we need more than that the guys will need to bring a sleeping bag....at least the floor is carpeted. Of course anyone that would prefer to sleep with threir Nomad that is very understandable.

Since you were kind enough to put this together and bring the fish I guess we will put your name on one of the beds.

I think Rick II (Wandering Nomad) was planning on staying at a hotel nearby. But hopefully he will chime in and confirm his plan.

I will arrange for some meat for the non-fish eaters and the rest of the food/beverages.

I don't BBQ fish so you may have to take control of the spatula so I don't screw it up.

Looking forward to it....hope for good weather!

Greg,
I've got two air matresses if you need them. I can meet you during the week so that you have them ahead of time. Send me a PM if you need to get a hold of me.

In regard to the ride, I'll have to see as we get closer to the 2nd and 3rd. I can pretty much guarantee that my father-in-law is out, but I'd like to hope that I'm in.
Rich

Thanks Rich....I will let you know. Hope you can make it.

Rick, if your brother going home changes your hotel plan just let me know. I have plenty of room. It would also make a little more relaxing to know you don't have to ride to the hotel after the BBQ.

Try as I might I really won't be able to make it down Saturday :-[ But I will be in Castle Rock Sunday morning ready to go.
As far as calling in sick on Saturday, Karma says not to...A friend I work with who is 5 or 6 yrs younger than me had a heart attack last Saturday on a visit to MN. He's doing ok from what I hear, but he can't fly home for 2 weeks and then who knows. In those cases our sick leave is all we have, plus I'm trying to make it through the year having used 0 hrs. ???

Charlie,
That's too bad you are gonna miss out Saturday night, but that just means more halibut and tequila for the rest of us! Just plan to meet us at the original meeting place about 10:00 on Sunday and we can chow some breakfast before heading up the hill.

I keep watching the long range forecast...and I don't want to get my hopes too high just yet, but it's possible it could be really nice! Let's keep our fingers crossed! I have traded some PM's with rickyboy...and it sounds like he will be a game-time decision. I think however if the weather looks good he will come down... !
