Posting out of boredom

Well the weatherman has teased me a couple times in the last 2 weeks with promises of sunny weather but he was wrong again. I did get a 30 minute ride in a couple nights ago.

Now the next 5 days look wet....

Hope you guys are having better luck than me.

We have been fortunate here in north Alabama. I have been able to ride some every day. Little cooler today than it has been as it is only 55. We have had several days of 80 or near 80.

Oh, I don't know. They just towed my bike away on a flatbed truck.

Things were looking up for getting the bike out of hibernation, but then we just got a blizzard here on Tuesday. We got about 8 inches of snow, other places in the state had well over a foot. Looks like it'll be at least another couple of weeks.

Schoeney, This is going to be the longest spring in history. Our ski areas are smiling as most of them still have at least a four foot base. Some think they will get to June, before having to close. It's been done before so I don't doubt it at all.
A long time ago, one of the ski areas had a picture in their ad of a guy on his MC riding up to the mountain with his skis in a home made rack. Somehow that still doesn't sit well with me.
I guess now you know, your not the only bored person.

Beautiful weather here and my bike is in the shop for who knows how long. Next week is AZ Bike Week. I guess it will be AZ cage week for me.
Bored here, too.

Ryan,
Your heavy snow winters and drowning springs back there in the Dakotas the last two years have ruined my fall pheasant trips to SD the last couple seasons.....so much winter kill on birds that my buddies tell me don't bother coming out. It sucks....

Not really. My bike finally was transported to the dealer yesterday, which is 9 days after the crash. I spoke to the service manager yesterday afternoon and he said they should have the estimate ready this morning. So, we'll just take it from there. Best case, probably a couple of weeks. Worst case, it is totaled and the insurance company cuts me a check and I go buy myself a new bike.
