OK, they didn't kick ass but they did win
Mr. Brady only threw one interception but it was enough.

Sorry Tim. I was wrong. The Jets are much better than I thought they were.

Tim, I am probably pulling for the Jets. I have liked them since Joe Namath. I just don't think they can compete with Pittsburg. I could be wrong of course. I was wrong one time. That was the time I thought I was wrong.

Thanks to the Jets coming through I made some $$ this weekend (20 on a 4-team parlay paid 200). As far as GB vs. Pitt. in the SB, I see it the same way with a different outcome (Defenses are a push, Offence goes to GB.)

Of couse both teams have to make it through next Sunday. A Bear - Packer NFC Championship game at Soldier Field, in January . . . Now that's football!

For those counting the Bears out... I wouldn't do that just yet.

A Packers/Bears match is a rivalry that has no equal in NFL's history. This will be only the second time in history these two teams have met in the playoffs. It is outdoors in Chicago... as Stan said... that's football at its greatest. Should be one of the most watched games for the NFL. Around this area on Sunday... there won't be a sole on the streets.

I am a Bears fan, but wouldn't call a winner on this match-up. Either of these teams can win it.

I wouldn't have thought the Jets would beat New England either.

Given the defensive performance of the Jets yesterday... I'll favor them to win against the Steelers. (If the Jets defense can play like they did again.)

But then again, this is playoff football and anything can happen when a trip to the Super Bowl is on the line.

I don't think the Jets can do a repeat of what they did to NE. I just think that they spent to much emotion on that game and will be flat next week. That generally happens when you flap your gums too much.

As far as Green Bay and Chicago, I hope the Packers pull it off. Don't care for Chicago after they aquired that whiney mouthed Cutler. He whined the entire time he was in Denver and never cared for that.

I do believe the Pack will be in the Bowl. However after the run in with da Bears, I don't think the whole team will be going. Its going to be an epic battle with injuries on both teams.

Yeah, can't say much for Cutler's personality. He hasn't won too many friends in Chicago. They'll tolerate him as long as he wins; but after that no one much cares for him -- especially the Chicago Sports Press. They really don't like him.

I remain for the Bears in the Super Bowl. ;)
