No problem regarding the trailer ....we'll find a place for it.

The ride is planned for Saturday Sept. 4th. You have two choices....you can A) meet us at Patty's Eggnest @ 7:00am for breakfast and ride up through Darrington/Rockport with us via 530....or B) meet us at the Howard Miller Steelhead Park in Rockport about 9:00 am or so. One or two other guys are meeting us there....Rickyboy if he can get away....and another Nomad rider from Mount Vernon named Chris Rodriquez. I met him about a year ago at the Conway Pub. Let me know which option you fancy so we know where to look for you!

Looking at my list, if everyone shows, we will have seven Nomads and one Voyager lining up for the trip (so far)! Should be a really fun ride... !!

Up top where that restroom is would be fine. There should be two others there too. Rickyboy (if he makes it) and another guy from Mount Vernon named Chris. Chris is a short hispanic guy...and Ricky is the one with the funny accent....eh... ? They both ride black Nomads.

So far if everyone shows....it looks like eight Nomads, one Voyager and one Vstar (Mark's wife's bike). Let's hope for good weather! Check with Hammer....maybe he wants to ride along too!

Hi All,
It was really nice to have so many members and a couple non-members show up for the ride to Winthrop and back on Saturday! All together we had eight Nomads, one Voyager, one Drifter, one 1500 Classic and a Yamaha 650 V-star.

With the weather starting out a little iffy, I was surprised that everyone showed! We were well rewarded though with great riding weather and a fun group to ride with! Rick posted great photos in the Trips/Reports section....but here are a few I took as well....

On Sunday...Tricia joined me as we took Rick across the Mukiteo Ferry to Whidbey Island for some good stuff over there. We hit Fort Casey, Deception Pass Bridge, Mt. Erie, then had a late lunch in Anacortes before riding Hwy 20 east to Sedro Wooley and back south on Hwy 9 to Snohomish. While nearing Deception Pass, we came across two other Nomads riding two-up who live in Oak Harbor. We gave them each a KawaNOW business card.....hope to hear from them!

It was a good weekend and we enjoyed playing host for Rick and making a new friend! Hopefully he can make it back up for the Oyster Run and the weather will be nice on the 26th! If anyone wants to camp at our place on Saturday the 25th, let me know...we have room for a few. I will be out of town fishing in Alaska from the 12th to the 18th....but we should kick some ideas around for those that wish to make the run to Anacortes!

I am certain our entourage will be going across the Mukilteo Ferry....up Whidbey Island across Deception Pass....then taking Rosario Rd. into town. We may have to meet you there somewhere... ;)!
