New guy here

I'm new here, I live in South West Indiana down by Evansville IN.
I just purchased a new 2008 1600 Nomad blue/silver. Taking a half day vacation and picking it up tomorrow. It's supposed to be sunny and 72 Deg should be a great day to do a little riding and get acquainted with the new bike.

My first accessory will be a luggage rack, I see Cobra and Kawasaki racks, any others I should check out. They both seem a little on the small side.

Welcome recumbentbob from the flatlands of Colorado. Gorgeous riding weather here but I have the bike in pieces right now. As far as racks, hopefully someone else will talk about that since I threw a tour pack on right after purchasing.

Welcome Bob, Haven't seen a recumbent MC yet, probably would go to sleep on one. As for the rack, I have the Kaw but can't recommend it because it sets quite high on the backrest limiting its usefulness. Petty sure most others set lower.

. Once you start down that road.... ::).

As for the rack....go with the Cobra. It sits lower (a t-bag will be more useful) and is a lot cheaper than F&S.
