As BAAAAD as I hate it y'all, I'm gonna have to miss this one. This is my favorite rally of all, right size, right people, great food, and you damn sure can't beat the location. The ride out there and back is always an adventure when I meet people along the way, most admiring the bike and maybe wishing they could jump on a bike and do what I do. On the way out I always meet the "Jims" and have breakfast and lunch at the same ol' great places because the food and people there are so good.

Vic and Kate such fantastic HOST year after year!!!

I really enjoy it just as much because of the folks that show up there. There's always something going on from the time we get up and go to breakfast at the Shell Station until we go to bed after midnight.

At the end of the Rally, on the ride home, the weather is cool, the smell of Autumn is in the air, I get to see how beautiful Memphis and Nashville are at night without all the traffic. I take some back roads where I pass county fairs where the carnival food smells so good.

I'm really and truly going to miss it. I'm not going to have to hope it because I know everybody attending is going to have another fine rally.

Yeah, it's a bummer 'cause this year a lot of y'all are showing up that had to take a hiatus. Now I gotta take one and it burns like splashing gas in your eyes.

Oh yeah? One of these days when I got the money Rayski's got, I'll bankroll me a South Georgia Bike Rally where you can meet some of my esteemed barefooted, overall wearing, backwood drooped shouldered, slack jawed, drunken, insane asses. I'm adopted by the grace o' God, and it's a cool name, but with it comes a buncha baggage.

My family tree is a Scub Oak.

I want my last name to be Kawhead. That name's funkin' AWESOME!!!!!!

I'll see if Dave'll let me sleep under the entrance overhead again. Last time I ate about a dozen of his iddy bitty sweet rolls he puts out for breakfast, and stuffed another dozen in my pockets in case I got hungry later on. He got on my ass bad and told me them's for paying customers. Then they was the time when he caught me washing off under the spigot. Said he was getting complaints from the residents and fat drunk and stupid people shouldn't be seen neckid taking a shower under a spigot two foot off the ground in the flower bushes!

Damn them people get mad about the littlest things.

I'll see what I can do.

Unfortunately, Gibby will also be absent from this years Antler's Rally. I was hoping to make this year my fourth consecutive trek to Oklahoma but it just isn't in the cards. Will miss seeing everyone and the fun to be had. Hope you all have a great time this year and hopefully I will be able to make it next year.
