Caddo Valley Rally Weather

Well folks the have changed the weather outlook from warm and sunny to cool and rainy. Thursday they are calling for a decent day of sun temps mid 60's. Thursday night they are calling for rain, temps in the upper 30's. Friday cloudy with rain, temps in the mid 60's and lows in the upper 40's. Saturday low 60's with thunderstorms and rain into Sunday. So what do you all want to do, we can either continue and see what happens or move it into April. Chime in what's your thoughts.

Isn't it a little far out to decide. I saw the forecast but was content to wait til Mondays forecast to determin if it was going to hold.

Only so many vacation days, I'd rather move it than sit in the hotel for 2 days.

Yep, I saw the same thing Vic. Right now (Friday), it's calling for 60% chance of rain all day Saturday for the rally. I was going to wait until Wednesday and make a final decision. Maybe between now and then, the forecast might change. Who knows.

I've never relied on a weather forecast a week out.

I'm with Paul but I've been watching the weather channel and accuweather for the last couple of days and they change the forcast every day. So whatever you guys think I'm in.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, we can wait till the beginning of the week and see if it changes and go from there. Just getting everyone's feelings on this.

Perhaps we should wait until Tuesday. If it still looks like rain, then postpone until April.

I am going to call the hotel today and make sure of their cancellation policy (see if it's 24 or 48 hours) and we will wait till the last minute and see what the weather brings

It is in Arkansas, weather will probably change by then. Not very many weather guessers can get it right that far out anyway.

Crystal said she had to give them an answer at work.
Couldn't ask for two days off this week and then again in a few weeks.
So she'll be working till 10:00 am on Friday.
If it's still on, we'll be there Friday afternoon.
Or maybe try to meet up with y'all somewhere on the ride.

A multi-day rain forecast is too much for me. I would much rather postpone. This Tuesday is a good day to call it Vic, if they have a 24 hr cancel policy.

Ok the hotel has a 24 hour cancellation policy, so we can wait till Tuesday morning to call it. There seems to have been a slight improvement in the weather profile, but only slight. Everybody keep and eye on it and we as a group will make the decision Monday night.

The bad thing is it could look good Monday night and by Wednesday look bad again or vice versa. This time of year it's hard to get 4 or 5 days in a row without rain. Good luck on your decision Vic I'm sure we're all behind you.

The weather forecast for Memphis is 10% chance of rain on Friday and 0% on Saturday but like Framer said the forecast could change from one day to the next so the best bet is if it's not raining when you get ready to leave then go for it.
