Ride with Budman

Yesterday I took off a little early and pointed my bike east towards Arkansas. It’s about 230 miles from my house to Dave’s but the colors are changing and he has a new bike that needs to be ridden. I arrived at Dave’s about 6:30, as I suspected he was in the garage tinkering with the bike. We chatted for a while and then went out to eat with Crystal,

The next morning we planned a new ride so I could get home before thunder storms arrived. We decided to run the pig trail to highway 16 and then to Fayetteville and lunch, then I49 to I40 and home. This was 3rd time I’ve been on the pig trail this year and all 3 times it’s been wet.

Even with wet road the riding was fantastic, the foliage is starting to change colors but it won’t hit peak for another week or so. Dave said he’s liking the new ride and is still figuring out where everything is and I beat the weather home. What else could you ask for.
