..Jimmy Dale Tapley..told me..you gotta be careful not to cross the Red River out south of here..and that row of trees over east is Arkansas..so dont fly over there, cause we aint licensed to spray anywhere but in Oklahoma...

I promply took off on a Paddy Dike..south, toward the Red River..so overloaded that I couldnt make the plane climb higher than about 15 ft off the ground ("Flying in Ground Effect")..I managed to drag a wing in a left turn -planes with right rotateing props like to stagger to the left better than the right- but was to close to that tree line in Arkansas..and to low..so I dumped my load of pesticide..(parathion..bad stuff-made of nerve gas)...on a group of cattle standing in the shade of those trees....Saved my life..and didnt bend the plane... Killed three cows !

I heard the feds came into Idabell in the late 70's and arrested about half the town..including the entire local government sheriff, judge and whole kit an kaboodle

...Could be just small town gossip tho !

And a note: those Honda Gold Wings aint got no leg room !
Plenny for me.

We will be back soon, Brik. Love the area and so close. Contact you next time. Our purchase was unexpected but something we had been thinking about. Dealer in Gruene gave us extraordinary compensation for our trade ins. Had to do it. We're enjoying the new bikes. Still have our 1600 classic. That bikes not going anywhere.

Nobody listens to me anyway. And your right Brik, I may be next.

But it's not the ridiculously high price of the Harley that scares me, it is all the pirate gear and dealer T-shirts I am required to own.

Your absolutely right Bill. As soon as I made the deal on the bikes my wife became Harley fashion conscious. They give you a few shirts to get you hooked. I'm still looking for an eye patch to complete my new look. Also I quit washing my riding cloths.

Thats funny right there; but all truth aside you will have a strong desire to quit using underarm deodorant and only bathe once a week.

Scott, I was in Gruene Harley tonight and looked for your picture on the bike wall, but there are so many pictures of bikes being sold I couldn't find it.
