I love firearms discussions as much as oil. :)
So, when can you switch to synthetic oil on a semi-auto? LOL BTW: I'm considering a Ruger LCP for my concealed carry. Any thoughts? Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I have a Ruger LCP that I carry when riding. It is very concealable and rides very well in a pocket holster.I hardly know it's there.Google" elsie pea"for a good forum dedicated to the LCP.

I love the M1911 and it's iterations...but the super redhawk alaskan looks cool. An LCR might conceal a little better though.

Hey Greg, I didn't know you were such a bad-ass to be able to ride with an outlaw gang.

Ruger Elsiepea! A great little pocket pistol for serious social intercourse. As safe and easy to use as a wheel gun but with slim lines and capacity of an auto. Round is vastly under-rated but will and DOES perform marveously when the chips are down. Still have the single ejected case. Bullet went with perp.

I was thinking of getting a Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in .454. That is serious social intercourse...

Wow that is big. I am trying to decide among 3. The S&W MP .40, Sringfield XDM .40, and the Beretta PX Storm .40,
it will be my bedside/ CCW but I am not buying a compact model. I want a full magazine |

Get a Sig Sauer in .45. Keep 185 grain +p's in the clip and be happy.

I'd use warmly loaded .45 colt most of the time. Something like a 260 grain hp at 1000ft/sec. won't kick so much and provide all the excitement on the other end. I'd save the .454 rounds for the speed loader...At that point, whatever gets by the former is probably armored...

that is why I keep my .270 rifle for. When they get out of pistol range they better have a damn fast car cause that little gem is accurate up to and including 1/4 mile, maybe farther. 1/4 is as far as I have personally gone.
