Knoxville Area in July

I will be in a school at the McGhee Tyson Air Guard base in Knoxville, TN July 5-10. I plan on going on the bike so we can ride in the afternoons when I get out of school (if the weather is ok). We will be staying in Alcoa right by the airport. If anyone wants to meet and do short afternoon rides let me know.

Great! We won't get there till late on the 5th but I should get out of school by 1700 each day then we can ride. I'll get in touch with you closer to those dates.

Will do Goose. I don't think we will be hanging around much on our way out, have to get to Nashville from Macon on Friday. On the way back, we may stay near you guys. If not, I'll let you know when we are coming through (either on the bike or otherwise) in July.

Hey ZOOM, since thats during the week it'll be Fri before I can hook-up, because I'll be on nights that week but I'm off Fri. We'll get RHUNT to hook us up with some route that day! Just went through the Smokies this week-end and visited ClingmansDome highest Elev. in ETenn. WOW what a view if you never seen it I recommend it! But there are plenty of other point of interest.

Never been to Clingman's Dome but have been all over the other roads. Got my shirt for Deals Gap too.

I may also have an earlier trip to the same area 15-26 June. Not sure if I can go yet or if I'll ride the bike. I'm still coming in July too (on the bike for sure).

Zoom if I can work it out maybe I can visit my sister about then she lives in Lenoir City, RHunt and I have met several times but I wasn't on my bike.

I was supposed to go on another trip the same time in June but I couldn't ride my bike on it. I should know tomorrow if I can go to Knoxville and if so I'll try to ride it.
