I just checked his profile and his last log in was June 29, 2010 but his last post was April 11, 2011.

Then he isn't logging off or clearing his internet cookies that are used to keep you logged in. After a while, not clearing cache, cookies, temporary internet files, etc. can slow down your machine and/or cause delays in internet surfing.

I know it hasn't been anywhere near a year since I've chatted/posted with/to him. April 11th/2011 sounds more realistic. I know he works out of town a lot. Fort Mac I think.
I just found his phone number so I'll call him tomorrow to make sure all is well.
