TC - when I saw the title of the thread and that you started the thread....I thought....no way! You fooled me for a minute too. ;)

I enjoyed riding around in upper state New York.......In July! But those snowmobile trails look like they would be fun.

unwind2 , yeah, snomobiles are fun but people have been getting themselves killed here latley. Ride from bar to bar and then go 90 mph on the trails. If your not familiar with the turns you hit trees. Then there is the people who come over blind hills on the wrong side of the trail, headon into somebody coming the other way.
They were fun in my younger dats but I wouldn't ride one today.
I'll wait for spring

Very nice pics. I can imagine what it all looks like in the summer from a bike.

Trip, speaking of old western history, have you ever seen the show "Wild West Tech" on the history channel? That is along the lines of some of their stories. It is pretty interesting.
Yep, I watch it all the time. It's a very interesting show...especially when they spotlighted the hangings that they had in the old west.

Believe it or not, there is a pair of unmarked cement tombs in the cemetary in Griffin, Georgia. They believe that Doc Holliday's Father is buried in one and Doc is in the other.

Thanks JussMatt , I'm ready to ride. I retired last Sept. and this will be the first time in 44 years , weather permiting, I can ride anytime I want. Maybe thats why this winter seems to be so long. No, wait, last winter seemed long also
Have you lived in Texas all your life or did you move south from a colder climate like a lot of folks do?
I'm really tempted to give up the winters. Cindy said she will go any where with me She's a sweetheart :)
