SW Rally

Well....I am off first thing Friday morning to the SW Rally in Cortez, CO. I wish one or two of you from the NW Region could have rode down with me....but Landman will be there to help me show those boys how to party.... !

I'm planning to meet up with Bud on Saturday if it ain't rainin', and I'm gonna meet Utah Motorcyclist and Tombstone in Orem, Utah Sunday morning for the last leg to Cortez. Should be a great trip. I will be pounding the Interstate for two days going down and one and a half coming home, but I'm taking an extra day to ride up Idaho 93 from Pocatello to Missoula along the Salmon River....God's Country for sure! Including the planned rides at the rally....I'm guessing I'll rack up close to 3500 miles by the time I get back home...ten days total... !

BTW...the wife has an interview with Wells Fargo soon for a job that is right up her alley! I'm hoping she is gainfully employed again by the time of my return... ;)!! Anyways, I'm half packed and ready to roll. I will try to post from the hotel(s) when I get a chance....but pics will have to wait until I return. Kalispell ain't too far off either....!! Ahhh....another riding season is upon us.....let the good times roll...and roll.....and roll some more... !!

Kris,

Have a safe trip and we SW'ers will definately show you how to party. By the way, Landman called in and he will not be making it. He has a large land deal and the buyers are coming in during the rally.

See ya on Sunday.

Whata you mean no pix til you get back?! I'm living my vacation vicariously through your trip. Do we need to take a donation so you can get the hotels with the free wifi. LOL

Seriously, the trip back up the Salmon River sounds fantastic. I've flown over it low level several times and it's some of the most beautiful country on God's green earth.

Have fun down there and show how real Nordic men party! See ya soon.

I'll be bringing my laptop to Cortez (space permitting) and will try to upload photos every day.

I hate you da*n government employees with the fat wallets and 200 days of paid vacation. No wonder the rest of us are all broke.

Have a great time and take lots of people pics...oh and a few bike pics too!

The weather looks like it's turning out perfect, hope it stays good all the way for you. Pray for a safe trip for you and all. P.S. From Missoula -to- Coeur d' Alene, ID is a good time to stop and stretch, I'm just off I-90 if you need anything. Vince

Looks like you folks are having a great time. Fantastic to see Nomads from several vintages along side the new Voyagers. That is pure blueblood pedigree!

Hey Kris...see if you can bum a ride on one of the Voyagers and let us know if it should stay on our dreaming list. LOL

Ride safe and have fun!
