I think Deals Gap is just an assumption so far, and I agree with ya'll. Maybe it should be smack dab in the middle of the US, an equal distance for most.

Deals Gap, NC is 2700 miles from my place one way! That's more than twice what I rode to get to Custer (1200). Sorry to say....I'm out on that one!

That said, the more I think about it....I think we could possibly do a combined NW/SW Rally (essentially a West Coast Rally) and pool our efforts with great success....

. I'm not boycotting ....I just ain't ridin' 2700 miles one way for anything...

Well Landman..if we have the 2013 National Rally as far west as Deals Gap is east we should be in Idaho!

idaho is nice but then everyone knows you couldn't go wrong anywhere in the northwest region.i like kris's idea of a combined
nw/sw rally for 2011.

I may attend the Hell's Canyon Rally - It's just a stone's throw from me, but there has been a lot of crazy riding on that thing the last few years. Brother Speed etc. have a tendency to take it fast. I don't mind riding in large groups if I know a few of the guys with me can handle it.
