We had that problem one other time just call Alex and tell him your with Kawanow and the code doesn't work.

Too many non-Kawanow people were using the code so Alex said to just call and order it to get the discount. I will be calling tomorrow. Those of you who have it, how high is the 5" and 8" screen compared to our factory windshield?

Factory windshield is adjustable, so it's hard to say. You are probably going to want at least the 8". I have an 8" on mine and it sits low, blocks the wind fine, but it sits pretty low. Unless you're real short, get the 8" or taller.

I did the same thing,, I have been using the 8" and will change to the 5" when I get back from the Ralley in Lake George.. I like the 5" better for around town,,Havent tried in on a long trip yet
The mounting is fairly cut and dry.. The 1600 is nuts on, the 1500 sometimes has to be tweaked a tad to center around the head light...
You will really like riding behund the fairing, even at 90 deg it was comfortable

Rich I haven't talked to Alex but I think that would be the best way just call him and tell him you are with Kawanow.

Serioulsy considering ordering my fairing from Reckless, with the radio and speakers, and also painted to match my bike. Has anyone done this, and if so were you satisfied with the product.

I didn't know Reckless offered painting as an option. If they don't, you'd have to gut the fairing and remove everything prior to getting it painted locally, but I'm sure you knew that. It wouldn't be difficult to do.

I ordered one today and talked to alex. He gave me a discount I also looked at some that where already painted and the guy that does the painting is very good
