+1 on the patch,
would sure make a nice sticker on the bottom corner of my windshield though

It was discussed in detail in some of the other region sites about "rockers"; then it was decided that as long as the "patch" or "logo" was a one-piece unit the issue would not likely be a problem for the 1%er's.

I didn't realize this was an issue as you mentioned; but evidently a few members "closer" to the situation, maybe such as you, said that as long as the "rocker" wasn't a separate piece that the 1%er's would generally not care.

LMAO, I don' even consider myself a biker.I prefer to think of myself as an enthusiast or motorcyclist. I do however know of a Kawasaki group that disbanded in Mississippi this spring due to problems with a "MC". Had to do with a location as part of their patch. There might have been more to it than that,I don't know.
Also, the Patriot Guard Riders have been very careful about rockers and territorial patches. They have even gone so far as to meet with the Confederation of Clubs in various states to get approval for even wearing a back patch.
Anyway, I just brought it up to make people aware.I have no idea where this logo/mascot thing is going, just thought it would be best think things over beforehand.

I agree with what you say, but I have to wonder why a group of people (MCs) who like to be free and not answer to anyone would want to enforce what people wear. They've become like the mafia and you have to pay tribute. Being from the east coast and Italian, I can unequivocally that the mob is nuts and so is that. I wouldn't cater to it. Those guys aren't right. JMO

That's really too bad any club would have to disband because of another MC. Likely there was another underlying issue but who knows.

I have to agree with Ponch on his overall thought on this.

I believe it really only becomes a problem when it is a large back patch. Usually if it is something smaller they rarely even notice it. But lets get real who could blame you for bragging about a owning a bike as great as the Nomad.

I think you are correct in that it would be a large patch that would create a potential problem.

Only because it is large I'm sure. Nobody ever stops to read the fine print.

OP, Memorial weekend I was in your neighborhood. Granite, Iowa to be exact. It was the last corner of Iowa I rode to that weekend.I started in Hamburg, went across to Keokuk, then up the River to New Albin. Stopped and took pictures of about 35 courthouses that weekend as well.
