Got mine from Bamabrat

My chaps arrived today and I installed them and went from a ride in 48 degree weather. Great ride, chaps are great. Thanks Bamabrat.

Thanks Ant. Glad you like them. You should be able to adjust the buckles and or Velcro to get the crease out of the chaps (if you care...if not, ride on brother, ride on)

I haven't had a chance to fully adjust the chaps yet, I had to go ride. All I did was put them on straight out of the box hopped on and went riding. I know that I can adjust them better and will tomorrow. No time today 35th wedding anniversary.Once again thanks.

Congrats Ant! My parents celebrated their 43rd this year, and I took them each riding for their first time on my Suzuki Blvd earlier this Spring. They both loved it.

I'm glad you liked the chaps. It was 36 degrees this morning when I rode to work. But with the fork lowers, batwing, batwing deflectors, engine guard chaps, wired gloves, leather chaps (for my legs), textile jacket with inner lining, and full-face helmet, I was actually comfortable. Last year it was a very different story. I froze each of the 30 miles to work. That's why I started on my 'winterizing' project in July. Today was my 1st chance to try everything together. I wouldn't change anything right now.

David,
I was going to buy the full face mask, but the guy at Cycle Gear told me that the eye opening tends to stretch out, so I ended up going with the lower mask (from nose down). I used it last night for the first time this year, and used it most of last winter. If you wear glasses, these masks tend to fog up the glasses when you wear them both. I bought heated (wired) gloves off ebay this summer to prepare for winter riding. I've used them a couple times already and can't say enough about them. I bought 3 different pair of non-wired gloves, and my hands kept getting cold. I finally gave in and spent $75 plus another $30 for the temp control. After using them a couple of times, it was money well spent.

I havent found any at that price. The gloves I showed you come with 100 gram Thinsulate so I am hoping they will be oK. I will check Ebay again before deciding.

I have contacts so I am ok there, but my beard and neck get really cold so I have to have something....

I wear a Gator Face Protector. But as Jason had said they tend to fog up your glasses. I have to pull it down away from my nose so that they don't fog up. I'm looking in to Crizal lenses for my glasses. Hopefully that will stop the fogging.

David,
Here is what I have. Used it today (40 degrees) again on the way to work. Does a great job. I got it from cycle gear when they were selling all glove liners, socks, masks, etc. for $9.99 each.
