How loud KawaNOW?

Don't want to start any discussions as to relative merits or subjective "tone" quality, just thought it would be interesting to see the spread on this.

Cheers, or CHEERS!

BD's instructions on removing the stock baffles produced a sound I would classify as perfect. Low rumble - no backfiring

I also did the baffle removal. I like the sound and it's loud enough for me, at least for now.

I did the baffle removal a couple years ago, but still wanted more rumble, so I put Cobra Billet tip true duals on. I don't feel like the Cobras are too loud not like straight or shot gun exhaust.

I'm not after loudness, but a deep throaty rumble. Just want the bike to sound tough, not burst my (or anyone elses) eardrums.
I'm going for the muffler baffle removal too, as soon as I can find some extra stock mufflers. You know, sorta like "non-destructive editing". I already have an extra goats bladder I'm going to gut, then we'll see how it sounds.

You won't be dissapointed audio. Some pipes have very large and heavy baffles wich make the bike too loud after they are removed. The nomad ones are puny. It makes it deeper sounding not so much loud. Especially cruising at freeway speeds its not at all annoying. The V&H I had on my honda were loud an obnoxious at speed with the baffles in and with the baffels removed they were down right deafening! This mod has been my favorite.

I agree with WM. I rode behind a Honda with V&H today and hated it. It irritated the heck outta my ears. For some reason, Hondas don't seem to sound good to me with aftermarket pipes. Why is that?

I love the sound of my Nomad with the silencer removal.

My old 1100 shadow had straight dragpipes and MAN WAS IT LOUD!!! No one would ride behind me. Once I rode behind it when I swapped bikes with a fellow rider, I understood why. Honda's have a distinct sound with a/m pipes..

How loud KawaNOW?

Just about my second week at this board, and I am really likeing what I see and hear here. This new Nomad is rocking my bikein boots.
Where can I find this BD instructions? Is it the same as punching thru the first one or two baffels?
Any one with a sound bite maybe. Last bike was to loud and I dont want to screw this one up. Its quiet but wouldnt mind, after first check up, getting a little more rumble out of it.
