NOT a Wrench Party

OK...no wrenches!!

I found out it takes four men, six days and sixty cases of beer to install the cruise control.

So, no wrenches - come to the man cave Sunday and have wings and cokes while listening to music and then ride one of the best routes in Florida. Plus you get to see my new Nomad!

The date is Sunday, September 27th.

Location will be at the man cave located at 1280 US Highway 1, in Malabar, Fl.

PM me if you need a cell phone #.

Jim

This should be fun.

It's going to be several hours of work on the cruise control but I think if we have a few people doing something then it may only take a couple hours and then I can tend to the hooters... wings that is.

I'm pretty sure CoachA and I will be rolling in early so I hope you have the coffee on.

I hope some of you newer guys in Jacksonville area come down to visit, I'd really like to meet you.

Natalie is working Sunday's now so I'll be on my own. So remember... What happens at the man cave stays at the man cave!

Jim, Mike, Ron, et all: I will be up in GA/NC riding the parkway and surounding that week . Don't know now when we will quit so don't know if I'll be back in time to come down. But right now I think I will miss the get together. If I am back in Jax before that Sunday it will probably be late Sat night. So I thought I might pop the top on a Vette and 4 wheel it down. If that works out I will follow the directions you sent Jim but a cell # in case I have a problem would be helpful?

Couple of hours to install the cruise control? Hmmmm...well, maybe if you throw enough people at it.

Somebody bring a stopwatch.

Please let me know how long it really took.

CJ, it only took us about 6 or so to get mine up and working...that is actual wrench time. We will be throwing some of the best wrenches at Jim that we have. ;)

ok senior wrenchers...what extra parts should I have on hand? I have the cruise control and the parts that came with it...this was an open box deal from our forum. Should be complete but don't I need some other pieces?

Home Depot, Lowes and ACE are within 3 miles of the cave if we need extra parts.

Congratulations Mike and Natalie!!

Jim,

I'll send you a list of parts you need to get before we get there. I'll make up the pvc pipe when we are there. I think we will mount it like CoachA did. You won't see it.

Thanks, Natalie and I are going to get all the pictures together this week of the wedding, I'll post a few when I can.

It was a great day...rain and all. Mike looked dashing and Natalie was stunning! The food was off the wall and the beer was cold.

Joe, I'll have pictures up either today or tomorrow. I just downloaded them all from the cameras.

Jim,

What's the deal man? Is the cruise control on hold until you figure out what bike your selling? If you sell one at all. What's wrong with 3 Nomads and 2 Goldwings, that's normal right?

lol..

Nope, it isn't normal, normal is 8 Nomads, 6 Wings, and a Boss Hoss.

Don't give him any ideas.

Pretty soon he's gonna want a hitch and have one Nomad for camping, by camping I mean trailer his clothing to the Hilton.

One Nomad for riding around town.

One for touring (unless he's with the Mrs. then it's the Goldwing).

One for.... hell I can't even think why someone would need more than 3.

Jim, help me out here. ;)
