I realize it's pretty much the same bike, but the blacked-out body panels are a much better look, in my opinion.

Factory hard saddlebags. So putting hard bags on a Vulcan 900 doesn't make it a bagger.

I understand the touring guys wanting a trunk and higher shield, but for my purposes this stripped down version would work great. I would miss the floorboards though. I don't tour and most my rides are 200 miles or less so I don't need all the extra baggage.

I wouldn't buy one for the same reason I won't buy any of the other new bikes though. Don't want to spend $16,000+ for a motorcycle.

The new Nomad lists for over 16K now.

Because a 1300 vtwin is a little small these days...

True. But there was nothing wrong with the VTX 1800, which in my opinion, should be the bike they built their fury from, not the 1300.

Agree, it is a very good looking " Bagger" . Similar to Vaquero ,minus the 6 cyl. . Price is 3K too high for the standard equipment. I have not ever been a fan of the front fairing stling of the headlights, however, it depicts Honda's styling. Without riding one ,dunno , if I would be an owner.

The more I ride my Vaquero, the more I like it. Having almost 1900 miles in 2 months for the oppurtunitys I get to ride is pretty good for me. I also agree with one other comment about how many miles one is able to ride ,.. 200 miles is usually all I get to ride . Yes, I do believe Honda is seeing the Vaquero type baggers taking the marketplace by storm and they needed to do something. I'll keep putting miles on mine and keep smiling.

No there wasn't. May be it wasn't selling well. Some people didn't like the engine sound because of the offset crank pins. Who knows. It would have worked. Seems Honda is going in a different direction.

I for one did not like the VTX 1800. Did not handle well and I did not like having 2 pipes on one side. It reduced the bag space.

This new wing or F6 reminds me of the Valkyrie a little bit. A great bike.
