Back From Sardis

If you don't go to the rallies and get involved you miss out on a lot.
Getting to know some great people has been best part of being in the VBA.

Saturday morning Crystal and I got in the car and drove over to see Jim (oldbikers) and Bea Hardin.
As always the Christmas decorations are over the top both inside and out.
Bea has every room decked out and Jim has lights on everything outside.
The lights are set to the music he has playing. Every year they add to the display.
The local paper did a large write up on Jim and Bea and the decorations.
We went out and had dinner and spent the night at their house.
We had to get back so we left about 8:00 this morning.
It was great to see you two again. Hopefully we'll see you in Eureka Springs next June.

I think he said it cycles thru 14 different songs.
All of them have their own lighting setup.
Pretty cool!

They must start about Labor Day putting it up, and work till spring to get it all put away.

Glad you and Crystal got to visit Jim and Bea Dave. You're exactly right, the people you meet in this group are the best part of the membership!

People think you are crazy to drive to MS to see Christmas lights, but it's worth the trip. We really missed not going this year but it just wasn't to be. Thanks Dave for sharing and Thanks to Jim and Bea for doing all the work.
