Dobeck Ejk vs GMan Bully vs Wiseco FMC145

All three of these programers look almost identical however the prices between the three are dramatic. So my question is what's the big difference? Why pay so much more for the EJK or Bully when the Wiseco is priced so lower?

Not sure of differences but I just ordered the Dobeck. I like that the Dobeck guys used to be the Dynojet guys and that you can tune it with no equipment. Have not seen any negative reviews and a few Indian owners seem very pleased with theirs. I will let you know how it goes probably next week sometime.

They are all the same contoller, made by Dobeck Performance for the different vendors. However the support and customer service you get directly from Dobeck is superior to any company I have ever dealt with ever. Let them know you are a forum member and you get an additional $25 off. More if you are military. I used their tech support extensively when I was trying to work out the decel popping issue.

Thanks Ken, that's exactly the answer I was looking for. I'm willing to pay a little more for the customer support. I see that Dobeck also has a TFI with the TFIpot adjusters for an even lower price. Looks like I have some thinking to do.

The EJK is way more adjustable. The TFI is super sensitive and you can be running slobbering rich with a tiny turn of a screw in the POTS.

The EJK works great, easy install. I think Ken has done more dialing in than most of us and the settings he's come up with have been accurate and greatly appreciated.

There will always be some pop. Mine does it when the bike gets hot at closed throttle 2100 rpm. Usually in 3rd going to 2nd. I have it down to a single pop and its muffled. I gave up trying to completely eliminate it. Ran the bike on the dyno and its making excellent horsepower, so now I just turn up the tunes and dont care if I get a pop every now and again.

According to RacnRay the stock Vaq makes about 69 to 72 hp. He has some archive runs from other Vaqs he has dynoed. I got my bike up there did about 6 pulls. Ended up at 82 Hp and 102 ft. Lbs torque. Let me see if I can find the sheets.

Have both the EJK and Chucksters BAK on my 1700 Classic. Highly recommend them both for form, fit, and function. Great customer service from both as well. Nothing against Thunder Mfg, but basically the same product at a reduced cost.
