Hello all,

I have been a lurker on this forum for well over a year now. Recently I traded my 2003 Honda Shadow ACE for a 2005 Nomad 1600, so I guess it's time to come out of the closet. This forum was very instrumental in my decision to go with the Nomad. My wife and I wanted something a little more comfortable for two-up riding on longer trips and I think we made the right choice. We were fortunate to find a great deal on one that already had a Russell "Day Long" seat on it and only 11000 mi in excellent condition. This is the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. I have already added Phat II risers and AirLite chaps. I also purchased a HD Tour Pak and built a custom rack for it modeled after the Wompus. I have just finished mounting the pak, but still need to do a little body work and paint it to match the bike.
