Fuel Processor 1600

Well it seems that I am going to be in the market for a fuel processor.

I have only modded the exhaust so far. I was hoping to not need one until I decided to do the intake but it looks like I will be doing this in a different order.

What is the easiest to install\configure?

And what is the cheapest place to get one?

Cobra FI2000R is one of the less expensive ones. Plug 'n play, easy install. I don't remember how much I paid for mine. I'm thinking $180-$190, something in that range.

I got mine from Custom Dynamics - http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle.....htm#Kawasa ki_ - for $182.35 with free shipping. The list price is $191.95, but you can get 5% off just by asking (they also email you a 5% off coupon each time you place an order).

TFI ordered and on the way.

Can anyone recommend pot settings for a nomad that has only been debaffled, still stock otherwise?

you are running leaner. As Macmac said, even if you dont debaffle a TFI will benefit your bike.

Yeah it started pinging on 91 octane gas in 70 degree temps where last year it never pinged at all.
