Nice Nomad, but I agree with you, $10k seems a little steep for a 10 year old bike, in spite of what he's done to it.

there was one here locally with fairing, tourpack, and other stuff for around $6K. If I were in the market for another one, I'd have bought it.

Very nice, but very expensive. Like has already been said, it only takes one person to pay too much!

I haven't priced fairing so I'm not exactly sure what they cost, but you can find a 05 for $7K relatively easy. Don't think this guys gonna sell his bike any time soon. More like $5-$6K imo

Who knows, maybe his wife said it had to go and he really doesn't want to let it go so he stuck an outlandish price on it to say "I told you it wouldn't sell". Or he could be in debt up to his wazoo and needs that much.

However, 16,000 miles on a 10 year old bike is ridiculous and I live in a region where I have winter more months than him.

I bought a brand new '08 Nomad for $10,700 and I'm pretty sure you could still find a left over for that.

It doesn't make sense to buy a ten year old bike for the same price, regardless of the mods.
