I had the series 1 on my 2006.They worked well. They will need painted to match.
I got mine used and they were not painted and had a lot of stone pits. I sanded them smooth, and plastic dipped them black. It seem to hold up well, probably better than paint and a good clear coat. The stone just bounce of the rubber coating.

I've heard of members modifying some HD hard lowers.
I wonder what model and year is used without having to modify my crash bar.

I don't know for sure but I don't think Harley lowers can be fitted to the Kawasaki crash bars.

If you want to use the Kawasaki Nomad OEM crash bars then the JTD lowers are possibly the way to go. Contact JTD for more information.

Another option is to make the Harley crash bars and lowers fit your bike by modifying the Harley crash bar ends by welding on some adapters.
