'03 Custom Nomad
The wife has been riding her '09 EN500 since new and now I convinced her into getting a bigger bike and she decided on this Nomad
The wife 5' 2'' tall and she is rockin' this '03 1500 Nomad hard! She hammered it up to 105 mph on her 1st trip out. We bought the bike as it sits, it has 28,583.075 miles on the clock, as you can see it is backed out & has Roland Sands 19'' King apes, V&H Touring duals, power commander, white walls, custom seat, signal lights, etc. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

That's quite a jump in seat height, weight, and handlebar height. She can hold that bike up at 5'2" tall?

congrats to your wife on the new ride !! It's a little more bike and the handling will be diff. with the apes I'd think. Depending on her ability she should do fine.
Not sure I would have gone over 100 mph right outta the gate though without checking it from top to bottom. But that's just me. Good luck and have fun.....

I booked it hard out of the city out to Hell-Way 99 and it felt tight & OH YEAH! I was giving a good test run coming out of the city . The wife took it from there and had fun. We have been out and about over quite a bit of lower BC this summer and she has had no problems handling it. Thanks for the comments Silent Sam, Jared & Deweychop I agree with you about the bars as I am not a fan of apes at all but for some reason I think this road hammer has it nailed! |

good for her, your looks like it might of been lowered. My wife is 5' 4" and said she would of bought a nomad that we seen if it wasn't so tall and heavy. Although she loves her 900LT.
