2012 HD Demo rides

I was looking at my photo albums and found this one:

I liked all three but the Electra Glide Ultra Limited was a luxurious ride.

I like the yellow one.
This is the last HD I test rode. Waited two hours in the sun and 80* weather for the ride.
My sons are always saying they are going to use this one as blackmail.

I'm not so much a Street Glide fan. My favorite is the Road Glide Custom with the Electra Glide Ultra a close second.

After waiting for a couple of hours in the sun, I finally decided to take the next available whatever. The Street Glide was it.

I can understand that. I'd rather just hit up the local dealership and ride one. I'm assuming you don't have a dealership close by.

Hey Elvis, that Black Ultra Limited is exactly the bike I was looking at when I got my new Victory. They are VERY nice bikes.

I like the Ultras as well, I found them to be a great handling bike.

There is a dealer 7-8 miles from my house. We haven't gotten along for a number of years now.

My last attempt was about 4 years ago.

I agree 100%, they are too damn expensive though!

Spring demos are happening in mid April and I'll see what happens then.

I held-off to buy my HD in mid-July; which is just at the time the new models are arriving to the dealers. I took mine (new) out the back door at an unbelievable discount while they were rolling-in the new ones in the front door.

It worked for me...

You're right Greg. I swallowed the shot on 6/23. The sales manager came back 4 times before I agreed. The deal was so good that I couldn't walk away from it. My plans were to wait on the 13's. I was there yesterday admiring the new colors. They have a yellow/pearl black Limited. I walked around the store and went back to it a couple of times. The showroom is packed with the 2013 models. I saw several with "SOLD" tags haning on them. Mike Bruno's business is booming in Houma.
I went to Bruno's today and noticed my Nomad was gone. Sales manager told me that it sold at auction and that he took a really bad beating on it. He was surprised it sold as low as it did with it being in excellent condition.
