FS Roadhouse Serrated Heat Shields SOLD

Heat shields and large collars only. I bought a set of Roadhouse Doolie pipes, and at the time the serrated heat shields were the only ones available. I wanted smooth. When smooth heat shields came available I bought them separate from Roadhouse so I have a set of serrated for sale. They are for an '07 1600 Classic but the shields should be the same for a Nomad. They are slightly yellow, which is normal and I believe they can be shined up with a stainless cleaner. They have less than 2000 miles on them. Again these are shields only and include the large faux nuts at the headpipe.

This is the best I got for right now, I'll try to get one of just the shields alone.

And the windshield isn't a stock one either.

Well, it isn't a Nomad, it's a Classic. I was looking for a Nomad when I found it, a zero-mile '07, at the end of '08 just before the '09's came out. Dealership was basically wholesaling it out and made me an offer I couldn't refuse (and it was the right color). I saved enough that I splurged and put the Nomad parts that I wanted on the classic. (passenger floorboards, bag guards and seat). Windshield is National Cycle Switchblade, I have two shields, a tall "2-up" and a short "shorty". I really like the way I can switch 'em and detach for cleaning. The bags I had on the bike I traded in, so I kept 'em, had 'em color matched this winter and fabricated some mounts. I just like HD bags, always have.
And the RoadHouse Dooleys are the best, if not too damn expensive!!

I didn't set it up that way, but I think you could.

Basicaly it is just a plate, the shape of the bag (could be any bag, not just Hd) that bolts to he fender strut mount bolts. I rivited an aluminum angle on the plate to provide a "step" for the bag to set on (for support from the bottom, reduces stress on the bags). I added an aluminum angle on the bottom of each angle and bolted a Nomad bag support bar between the two plates, reduces side to side movement. The fact that the Classic has a 3rd fender bolt (the one farthest to the rear) provides another point to secure the plate. Once everything is all bolted up it is a rock solid mount.
