I wouldn't want a brother biker that would like to ride with us feel we are a bunch of rednecks that hate blacks... that's my concern.. JMO..

BD that is a good point, but I don't think there is a censorship on what is posted in here. I thought this one would be messy when I saw it.

I'm not advocating censorship... I like most of the jokes I read here. That said, I think it's incumbent on anyone, on any forum, to exercise some common sense when deciding to copy and paste a joke that is over the line. The fact it was preceded by a disclaimer clearly shows the poster knew that line had been crossed and posted it anyway, ignorantly hoping to elicit a reaction from those with cognitive abilities he obviously does not have.

Referencing blowndodge, I do think there are a bunch of members who are just as he's described, and if I may quote Loafer, "I thought this one would be messy when I saw it"; that in an of itself proves this little ditty is a sensitive subject that, in the proper place, "could" be perceived as funny by a small group - it's simply not funny here and is in bad taste.

Get it? If not, it's not my fault. Just as you have your opinions on what's funny, so do I, and my take is no less valid than yours. Think about that.

As to my choice of using the "D" word, wouldn't you agree it's far less abrasive than the joke that caused all this, and a more than fair reaction to being told to "get a life" by a total stranger? If not, you need a reality check.

I like a good quick witted joke as much as anyone. But if I was of a different color I wouldn't join this site... pains me to admit that as I have my "opinions" like everyone over religion, race, sex, political affiliation, you name it. But I'd like to think everone who rides would like to join Vulcan Baggers.

I guess Richard Prior and other comedians were born in their time... thank goodness for them. OR they would have never been able to make it in today's...You cant say that society.

America is loosing their sense of humor over political correctness.

Anyone seen the new released "edited" version of Blazing Saddles? One of the funniest movies I ever saw in my life and most of the people I know irrelevant of race agree.... saw the edited version a few months back.... it sucked, was not funny and and insult to my intellegience and ability to distinguish between a joke and and insult.

NRider, I hate the political correct movement as well. Don't get me wrong.. My concern is that these pages are viewed by more than just a couple of buddies telling a joke among themselves...

I probably have more "off color" type jokes in my joke bank than Mike. I try to pick the time and audience for these.... If your the type of man that understands never using the "C" word in a joke around women you understand my point. Wrong audience... JMO.
