My doctor talked me out of it. He said men that get vasectomies live on average 3 years shorter than men that don't. Whatever the case, I never did have it done. Instead, I use vatican roulette. It works 99.x% of the time. :)

If ya get a chance, do Deal's Gap!! I rode down to it from Ohio this past season and those mountains are gorgeous!! The ride up the highest mountain is sooo long and winding, with numerous places to pull off and take pictures. Gattlinburg has an awesome strip too. The "Dragons' Tail" was OK, but the main joy for me was the surrounding scenery!!

Maps are being put together for the North Central Regional Rally in a "pdf-file" format.

Hope to be able to start posting each one as I get them done for everyone to view.

I am also working on the hotel situation. I scouted some of the available ones a few weeks past.

If we hope to congregate at the same location after the day's ride to share a few good stories and refeshments (which is part of the whole purpose of a rally!!!) -- the choices have been narrowed down to a couple so far.

Once our region's staff determines the choice, the next step will be to see just how many are going to try to make it.

We have had a few members from other parts of the U.S. mentioned they would like to attend -- which would be great.

No matter the size of the group showing up; it should be fun.

Hope as many of you as possible can make it.

As it stands rite now, we will be joining you & other members on this rally. We will be riding from the Inpls area. if there are others from this part of the country attending contact us we could make plans to meet up. when I say WE I am speaking of my wonderful wife. We were hoping that she would have her own bike by July but it may not work out that way. So she will be a passenger.

That will be great. There should be some that will be in your pathway to hook-up with. As we get closer I am sure more will post their intentions.

The "guys" are working on the details for the rally at the moment... and more will be coming up as we get closer.

Bluekaw & Billyray... glad to hear the both of you will be trying to make the North Central Rally. You'll both be more than welcome; and should have a fun time.

I agree, it is a fun area to ride with something for all. While it maybe doesn't compare to the premier spots throughout the U.S. (like the Black Hills for example); it remains one of the better spots to ride that one can find in the Midwest -- period.

The North Central Regional Rally is off my sschedule for next year, something else came up that I need to do that week end.

Here in South Central Indiana the weather is up & down today it did get as warm as 35. I did see 2 bikes on the road it made me think about firing the Nomad up but I thought better of it after 2 minutes with the windows down on the truck. What a tease it was.

Ha! That's just far too cold for me.

I'm planning riding snowmobiles now. I am going way north into Wisconsin mid-January for my annual snowmobile roadtrip. Wisconsin knows how to put together great trails up there. It is lot of fun.

We will be riding on the annual hangover ride New years Day. We will be doing about 50 miles I know it is not a lot but at least we will be able to say that we started the New Year right. You know they say what ever you do on the first day of the year it will be something you will be do that thing the rst of the year. Happy Holidays to all!!
