Hey everyone. DK suggested a memorial ride in Michael Meek. The details are as follows:
June 13-16
Days Inn Waynesboro, VA
$70.99 room.
15 room block which will be expire May 20th. But they will honor price if they have rooms available.

Mike Meek was a big contributor to and a part of the original group of KawaNOW. The backbone that started VBA. He and Sheila were only able to attend some of the regional rallies due to distance and or his health.
I’ve been a part of this group since those beginning days too and I guess I made the assumption most folks in our region knew him. Great guy.

Ah, that explains it. As a member of the NW group until 7 years ago I had no exposure to Mike. Never the less, my son Ric and I plan to attend as long as the state of the country doesn't interfere.

Mike was a great guy. If Cindy and I weren't riding to Utah that week we would be there with you guys. Mike really stepped up leading the rides at the southeast rally we attended. Hope you guys and ladies have a super time.
