Spend 2 minutes and 16 seconds on the Alpine Scenic Loop in Utah. Don't forget your raincoat! :)

I always enjoy seeing pictures from out west. Such beautiful country out your way. I went to advanced Non-Commissioned Officer School at Fort Huachuca, AZ and drove over to Tombstone. That was such a place to visit.

Christmas of 08 I rode over to Fort Rucker to visit my daughter, on the way home I went through Tombstone, Fort Huachuca, and the little town just north that shares my last name, Whetstone Az.

Not the Nomad, but still a nice ride, albeit wet, dirty, and FUN!

I enjoyed seeing the pictures of the Pony Express Trail. I would enjoy riding that sometime.

Gene, if you go the right time it can be pretty smooth, no prob for a cruiser. When I had my wing, I was going to lead some other wing riders on it, but then one them had some family problems and we had to cancel...my point is, the road is 'doable' by just about any machine. C'mon over..I'm be your guide!

Might be a trip I could plan for next year. Guess I won't be doing any long distance trips the rest of this year. I will keep checking your ride reports. Thanks for all the great pictures.

As always some great pictures. Almost felt as though I was there with you. Beautiful country and looked like some great riding roads. Except the dirt roads. Me and the Nomad have an agreement. No dirt roads. Thanks for posting.
