Two Wheels Only - Suches - Reopening

For those of you who have ridden in North Georgia, the long time motorcycle campground in Suches, GA formerly known as Two Wheels Only (TWO) has been purchased by Bill Johnston who lives in Suches.

The campground has been closed in 2010 while the property owner tried, unsuccessfully to sell it for development. Mr. Johnston will be modernizing the campground and reopening it under a new name but no date for reopening has yet been published.

For more information there was an article published in the April 2013 issue of the American Motorcyclist magazine.

Keep your eyes and ears open for any further news and share if you find anything. This was a great place to stop end eat or to camp. I hope the new version will be even better.

Great to hear that T.W.O. will re-open. It was a geat place to stop for lunch while cruising the north Georgia mountains.

Always wondered when this would happen. This is a great location for the Biker Community...

Dick will have to keep everyone updated on the progress, since he lives so close(lol)...

I used to like to stop there for lunch when I was in the area. They had a burger called "the Big Ass Burger", and they wasn't lying. I also enjoyed walking around and just checking out all the other bikes. You did have to be on a bike to stop there.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out he owns the place. It couldn't have been no more than a Mil to by and refit, and right down the road. Juss makes sense.

I just got word from a local I know up there that it should be open by summer. He says he thinks the new name is Two Wheels of Suches. He was going to go by this weekend to check it out. I will let you all know what he finds out.

I have a few years to go before the gigantors leave the cave. But I have to get away from time to time just to see what it is like in the daylight.
