Hey Donnie, have a safe ride. I haven't discussed our departure time with Sly yet, but if we leave early Thursday we should be there early afternoon the latest. If you beat me there, put a cold one on ice.

Weve had lots of heat & humidity hear as well, although yesterday was just a great day and today is a little warm but not too bad. Last week was in the mid 90's with a humidex of around 112. If it cools down I'll bring a bag of cooler air with me, but it will take up some beer space you know.

Just looked at the 10 day forecast for Lake George. Possible showers for Thursday and a big bright sun for Friday; 80 degrees. I hope the sunny weather goes all the way to Sunday. Riding in the rain on Thursday doesn't thrill me but a cold beer at the end of the ride will be something to think about for 5 to 6 hours.

Boy, am I pumped. Really looking forward to putting some faces to the names I keep reading here on the forum.

I have a room with 2 doubles if anyone is still thinking of going and there aren't any rooms left. I know when I made my reservation, they said there were only a few rooms left.

Hi !
I just wanted to wish all of you a gr8 ride, gr8 weather but most of all, a gr8 time in Lake George!
At first I wanted to go, but got the chance to rent a cottage in Newfoundland over looking the
Ocean, so wife & I are leaving on Monday & we will be calling Avalon, Flat Rock Newfoundland home for 2 weeks as of Saturday, July 31.
Norm, Sly, Ring & all of you going enjoy have fun!
Catch you guys soon...we can plan a run in mid August?
