How many members in Oklahoma

Hey Nightmare,

I'm over in Duncan. The job is going to have me out of down for the next 6 weeks or so. Maybe we can get something going in the future. I have noticed an awful lot of Nomads in SW Oklahoma.

Blessings,

Mike

Being a Native Texan, I am often given a hard time about being in Oklahoma. Since I am a pastor, my answer is this...and I am sticking too it...."I am in Oklahoma doing missions work."

But seriously...my mom's side of the tree are Okies. Oklahoma is a great state. You would be hard pressed to find as much geographic diversity in one place as you find here. Lot's of wide open space here in the Southwest part of the state to ride in.

However..when it comes to the OU/Texas battle....

OK, this is for Big Daddy or Nightmare........I've traveled extensively in Oklahoma, on the bike and in the car.

On any turnpike that is running through designated Native Indian property, there are signs that say, "Don't drive into smoke". Any idea what that really means?

It means the indians are restless...No... it means if smoke from a fire covers the road, dont drive into it because someone may be stopped in the roadway or crashed in the smoke from poor visibility

Correct....it's amazing how much smoke a prairie fire can manufacture. These fires are a constant threat in SW OK when things start to dry out...got some rain today....Yes!

Ya'll come see us in the SW...check out the Game Preserve at Medicine Park and Mount Scott in the Wichita Mountains. Then hook it over to the Quartz Mountains just north of Altus. You might be surprised how interesting things can be. Red Rocks State Park up near I-40 is also great.

It's funny...being a Texan and all...but I told my wife the other day that "Oklahoma is OK"...I stole that from the old license plate.
