New Member from Baytown, Tx

Hi folks, Just bought my 2003 Nomad a month ago and havin a blast so far. This is my third bike. I rode all over California and Washington state will in the Navy but quite riding for awhile. Kids, family stuff, etc. you know. 52 years old now and can get back to it finally. Want to say thank you for the website. I've learned a bunch already. Look forward to meeting some of you whenever possible.

The last owner let the bike accumulate a bit of rust here and there. Anybody know the best way to get that off without ruining my elbows?

Where is the rust located. Might use 0000 steel wool pads and get the rust off.

Welcome to the forum, lots of great advice here. Rust is a pain, be careful you don't ruin paint and chrome by using too strong a product. The steel wool extra, extra fine will work. Just go easy. Mother's make some great products.
