BiscuitsNGravy II

Introducing "BiscuitsNGravy II".

It is a 1999 Vulcan Drifter 1500. It has 17,700 miles on the odometer. I am the third owner of this silver beauty. It came with the Vance & Hines exhaust, Fuel Commander, Corbin Seat, Stock Seat, Leather Bags and hangers, Sissy bar, and an honest to goodness hand shifter. It has been cared for.

I had the two new Dunlop wide whitewalls installed before I picked it up in Michigan on Wednesday. I strapped it down in my cargo trailer and just got it home to Iowa today.

It has a strong throttle response and is very nimble in parking lots and highways. I really like this '99 Drifter and it will be a good stable mate for my '06 Nomad.

Nice.

One day when it cools off I'll ride over to take a close look.

You've answered my question then. A fuel commander? I thought they had a carburetor? I love those bikes in that blood red with gold trim. Classic.

I'll have to visit some time. I don't think I am much more than an hour from you. I still owe you biscuits and gravy at the American Legion in Redfield.

Ponch- The Drifter started out in '99 with fuel injection on the 1500. The 800 was carbed. Let's get together in August for BnG??

Gibby- Remember at the rally I asked you how you liked your Drifter? Your response was the reason I got one!

Today when I rode the Drifter, there was buffeting coming from around the windshield. Do you have lowers on your Drifter front end?

Cool then. I thought all the 1999 1500s were carbed. Anyway, you set the day and I will be there, of course it has to be a Saturday. ;)

Dave

Pick a place 1/2 way between here (Omaha) and there and let's meet for breakfast - almost any days works for me as I am retired.

Every Saturday the American Legion in Redfield IA puts on a breakfast from 6-9. $6 and you can have anything on the menu.
