Will Barons tach fit with PhatII risers??

I've always had a tach and am considering mounting one on the bars between the risers, which are PhatII. Does anyone know if the Barons Bullet mini-tach will clear the risers (as it seems to need 3" of space)?? It seems like it would, but I'd like to hear from someone with that setup, or any other ideas for a small analog tach to mount between the PhatII's.
