maintenance and elec. done

I took advantage of this wet weather this weekend, and did the maintenance work that needed to be done, and added to the HD fairing.
I say "I" but without my friend Jerry, the bike might still be apart.
Thanks Jerry!!! you're the best.
I can't say enough about the new lift table and the Idaho jack adapter. Sure makes the hard jobs easier when you have the right tools!! The wheel dropped out so sweetly without effort Jerry and I almost cried :'( Not really but it was nice not to have to wrestle with it like I did the last time.
I/we pulled the swingarm, drive shaft, and of course the rear wheel. We did the full service, a big job done. The huge most exciting thing for me was that we..... no! Jerry, installed an instrument light bezel into the fairing. A lot of know how went into the elec. wiring. So now, instead of the idiot lights and turn signals being on the fuel tank consul, they are now up on the fairing. The pics showing the lights in the bezel,... don't do them justice. The far right and left are green arrows for the turn signals, then there is a blue high beam icon, green neutral " N ", red oil can for oil pressure, FI, and water temp. Oh and a little more chrome around the bezel, can't be bad thing can it?

You got a big maintenance job out of the way, and the instrument light bezel in the fairing is awesome. It is nice to have a little help from friends. ;)

That's right Kris, now if the summer riding season ever gets here!!
BTW Kris, it was nice to get your call yesterday. Sorry I couldn't chat longer, but Jerry needed my help with some of the elec.. That's right he needed ME! LOL Anyway we'll get together sometime soon I hope.
Lomax wants to meet in Hope one day again, for lunch. Maybe you can meet/stay at the cabin one night and we could head out from there. Some weekend I would guess. Think about it.

Thats a great idea with the idiot lights in the fairing. Your bike is coming along very nicely.
