I have to admit. I kinda felt like a wuss this morning donning all the gear, but once we got out of town and started rolling along at 65 mph I was darned glad I had it on. Low 40's is a bit chilly no matter where you come from.

When biking in cooler weather, I always think back to my youth and snowmobiling in sub-zero temps. Never even thought twice about jumping on a sled and hauling ass across the Lake Michigan ice at 60+ mph. My blood must've thinned out some.

It was cold this morning, wasn't it? When I left home about 06:15 it was 41° at the house and I hit some areas with a lot of open space that must have been around 35. I had my neoprene half mask on to keep my chin and nose warm.
