Question Ballistic Performance Batteries

Any of you heard of these "Ballistic Performance Batteries"?
I will be looking for a new one soon. Should I go with the original one or does anybody have a suggestion.
Thanks

This is what they claim:

I know it's the latest most high tech battery out there but the cost is over triple a standard battery. Will you get three times the life? I don't know. But even if it does it's a break even situation. What would be the gain? It's not like the bike will be driven off road and the battery will be sideways at times :-) Just saying.

I'm happy with mine. I got the 6 cell for $169.00 at North Valley Honda/Kawasaki in Phoenix. I have a LoJack + an R-Link security system so this is my 3rd battery. My second was a Tru-Gel at $130.00. I wanted one that would last longer than 18 months. The new lithiums are supposed to hold up well in the desert heat and last 5 years or more. (also have 400+ CCA). By my research, they are cheaper annually than a standard battery and I'm looking forward to not changing it for a while.

P.S. I think the 10 pounds lighter must refer to a car size battery since a motorccycle battery only weighs about that much.

OK!
Thanks for the info. You mentioned you got the 6 cell, that one is powerful enough?
After visiting the web, it suggested the 16 Cell HD, would that be overkill?

I've been buying Yuasa batteries for a long time.
I've always been happy with the price and the longevity.
This new battery is interesting, but I wouldn't buy it. JMO

Twice the Life but 3 times the cost? Batteries are about the easiest thing to change. Keep a battery tender on your bike and your battery will last a lot longer. $300 for a battery, I don't think so.

I have a 2005 nomad, I do use a battery tender on the bike during the off season. I just wanted some info regarding the battery.

Thanks
