Sherm's Gorilla Clutch Install

Just finished installing complete clutch kit. I could have just done the Barnett washer replacement as advised here but decided since I was in there, I'd do the whole thing. It is a vast improvement though stiffer than the OEM was but not too bad. I posted some pictures of the process for anyone that is thinking about doing the same.

Sherm's Gorilla Clutch Install

Nice write up. Maybe Ring will post a link to it in the tech section?

One thing, the oil does not have to be drained if you do the clutch on the sidestand. I did mine that way and nary a drop was spilled.

Thanks everyone. If it saves someone the cost of taking it to the dealer it is worth it.

Regarding the oil, everything I read said to drain the oil unless you lay the bike over. Oh well, needed an oil change anyway after sitting all winter.

Thanks again,

Pete
