I just got mine this week. It looks almost too nice to use. Hey do you also paint items like trunks and fairing? I know that when needed I will be proud to have bought one before the need. Thanks

Glad you like the finish. It would not work on a trunk or fairing. It is powdercoated and baked on in a high temp oven.

I thought I would bump this back to the top of the pile in case anyone is looking for an adapter.

I will be getting one once I get the jack. Sometime in a couple of months.

Then I will make one for you in a couple of months. I used mine again last night to put a new tire on the rear of the bike. Don't own a Nomad without one.

Let's see, it was something about not lifting your Nads without Idaho's Adapter.

You are going to have to help me get it just right.

I'm going to throw this on here for what it is worth.
My adapter is red. When I jack the bike up I put a red bungee cord from one mirror post to the other. After I let the bike down and put the jack back I get on the bike to start it and crap, I forgot to take the adapter off. This bungee has saved me 2 times already.

After all of the preaching I do to you guys I still ride off with mine attached. Did it last week. Went 35 miles before I realized it was still there. Found some wire, tied it on real good and finished the ride. Now I have a roll of red WARNING tape and I tie off a piece from mirror to mirror as TC said. Do as I say..........

I use one I made from that same design, but not as pretty. I'm not a welder so mine is all bolted together, but it works, and once the bike is up, I have a jackstand that I roll in from the other side, and pull the jack out while I do service. Every Nomad or Classic needs one of these adapters.

Looks nice Idaho. I am getting the jack in a few months too and will then get the adapter.
I do my work on the Nomad and will need a front tire soon. I want to take the wheel off myself to look at everything and do service if needed.
I will be in touch soon.
